A Place Called Home

Located on 41 beautiful acres of land in Eastern Pennsylvania, The Children’s Home of Easton is a private, non-profit agency providing both therapeutic home and community-based programs for troubled youths.. We are unique in today’s world of childcare, as we are a HOME, not an institution, for children in need. Since 1885 we have provided a long-term HOME environment for children who have needed our services. Our main campus serves as home to as many as 72 young people, ages 9 to 18, 48 of those youngsters in residential placement and 24 in emergency shelter care. We have an additional capacity for more than 76 children off campus in our satellite foster care and group homes. And our Aftercare Program provides individual apartments on campus for 10 qualified high school graduates who are alumni of the Children's Home of Easton. Please see "Services" for more information.

Creating A Family Environment For Children In Need

Having earned a national reputation for outstanding service, we continue the tradition of housing, treating and befriending children in need begun over a century ago. We have been home to thousands of children, providing the supervision, care, counseling, and love that would normally be provided by parents or family. With the advantage of our small size, we truly are like family.

Our individually designed programs are planned to help our youth return to the community as responsible citizens. Children receive as much freedom as they can handle and as much guidance as they need.
